Hi everybody,
I awoke to a suprise pancake breakfast thanks to my dad and his friends at Batter Blasters! Then we took a great 5 mi. bike ride on the Arizona Trail. It was pretty steep on the way up an I was struggling with my bike. But on the way down it was beautiful
With the wind blowing through my hair(and helmet). But as you know whatever goes up must come down. So on the way down I went down too.
I hit a little rock which stopped my bike but not me.
I flew strait into the ground with a perfect landing I may say so myself. I have a pretty scratch on my knee but oh well.
After the bike ride we took a short trip to Sunset Crater.
It was super pretty and covered with cinder cone. We also hiked up a crater to get the best view of sunset crater.

Hey Rachel and Daddy-Q(we like that)! Sounds like a fun and eventful trip!
We are camping at Grand Teton National Park. Have been boating, hiking, horseback riding, shopping, eating, drinking. Amazing mts., glaciers and lakes! We leave tomorrow for Idaho, Wa., Oregon, Ca. and home the end of August. Hope to catch up with you then!
Enjoy the rest of your summer! XOXO
It would be sic to have scars on both knees, so maybe you’ll get the other one sometime on this trip?
Glad you are having fun!! DaddyRox for taking you this sweet trip…give him a hug for me!

Hi Rachel!
What a fabulous trip, and you’ve written so well about it! So, one of my big aha’s was the sheep with a beard longer than your dad’s. Your dad. A beard? But then I saw the ice skating picture and it looks really good! You will remember this trip always. How special!
